Walshestown Restoration are leading by example in bringing a disused quarry back to its state of natural beauty.

We are located on a disused former sand and gravel quarry adjacent to and visible from the famed Punchestown Racecourse, venue for one of Ireland’s leading horse racing festivals each year. We are continuing work in using inert waste to restore the site to its original state, bringing back to the area the beauty of the rolling foothills of the Wicklow Mountains.

We are working in close cooperation on this project with Punchestown Racecourse to improve its setting and to allow them to extend the racecourse to incorporate part of the Walshestown site.
